The prime minister announced a three-day national mourning to express solidarity with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the barbaric attack.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Capital Punishment Redux<\/span><\/b><br \/>\nDec 17: At the Multi-Party Conference in Peshawar, convened in the aftermath of the savage Taliban attack on the Army Public School, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lifted a moratorium on executions in the country, allowing capital punishment for those sentenced to death in terrorism cases.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Back To Square One?<\/b><\/span><br \/>\nDec 24: Pakistan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s political leadership agreed to set up special military courts to try hardened terrorists.
